The Wild Wisdom of Weeds focuses on 13 plants that can be utilized as wild or survival foods. They are all incredibly nutrient dense and valuable in both the diet and herbal medicine. The information presented about each herb is detailed, thorough, and in-depth. Katrina has also included several of her own favorite recipes for each herb. Dandelion candy and Lambsquarter tabouli? Yes, please! There are even some intriguing non-edible recipes that are definitely worth trying - Purslane Shampoo and instructions for making a Mallow toothbrush, for instance! Highly recommend.
